Mini Challenge Reminder  
There are still plenty of numbers and prompts available for the Mini Challenge, so if you've finished the one you've already requested feel free to choose another. Remember, you can do ANYTHING Rayne-centric (icons, manips, fics, vids, etc.)...which includes gen-fics (co-workers, decently getting along) to buddy-fics and pre-Rayne to full on smut-city with a Rayne + other 3-some or more.

Seriously, ANYTHING GOES, so long as both River and Jayne are in it or referred to (like Kid!fics).

It is my goal to get one whole prompt table finished with this challenge; but hey, even if we don't--it's still a lot of fun to try!!

If you're up to another one (or have yet to sign up), here are the numbers that have yet to be claimed (of course, multiple claims for the same number are accepted as well):

Seriously. It kept using 'unit' incorrectly. Max with her whole 'he's not part of our unit' bs. Irl 'unit' refers to a really, really big group of soldiers as opposed to a really small one. So now I'm talking to the bro, using 'unit' and 'squad' interchangeably and confusing the hell out of both of us.

Freakin' DA.

A random ep of Without a Trace was on at my gym the other day. I was most interested in the credits (sadly). How much does it kill me that Jose Molina is a Co-Executive Producer on that show?

bump pics. :)  
Well, I tried playing WOW on Monday, and it updated. Which meant that all my mods needed to be updated. which also somehow meant that I couldn't enchant/disenchant, attack with anything other than my staff or unequip things. *sigh* So needless to say, there was no questing to be done for me that day.

Yesterday was dog park day. He somehow got scratches on his chest, tho they weren't deep and he never acted as if they hurt. I'll just let the groomer know today about it so they can be careful.

And, because I still haven't got the pics from graduation, I decided to take pics of my 30-week belly. No LJ cuts for you! :P


I figured with the flash it's kind of hard to see my face, but you can definitely see the baby bump. :)


So here's one with all of me. Or, at least as much as I could fit in the bathroom mirror. :D

Mini-Challenge  
Right. I still don't have a big enough list yet to offer up/procure votes for our next fic-writing challenge...so, in the mean-time:

I have chosen a table (completely at random!) from of the the eleventy billion communities that offer such challenges. It has 50 words/phrases that will act as prompts--and these are supposed to help INSPIRE you to the heights of literary/visual artistic perfection. *snort*

If you choose to accept this challenge, comment here with a number from 1-50 and I will PRIVATELY message you the prompt (so as to keep it secret until the reveal).

Write a haiku (or five), a drabble, a song-fic; create 5 NEW icons, a manip, or a wallpaper that expresses this theme; create a video, a song mix...ANYTHING YOUR HEART DESIRES so long as it fits the prompt.

These creations will be due on Sunday, July 27th at 12:01 am PT (NO EARLIER!!!) and you will have until Tuesday, July 29th at 11:59 pm PT to post them.

(Also, no discussing your prompts. While it wouldn't NECESSARILY ruin anything, it is cheating and that's NOT FAIR.)
